How long do Appraisals take?
As little as 15 minutes depending on the detail, taking the necessary time to perform all calculations and observations efficiently while you wait, answering all questions. We can usually appraise up to 10 articles in a one-hour time frame.
Do you Appraise colored Gemstones?
We use sophisticated Gemological equipment in the proper identification of Gemstones. Some of the Gemological testing equipment used: Refractometer, Polariscope, Thermal conductivity, Shortwave/Longwave Ultraviolet, High Power Magnification: 10X - 40X, Dicroscope, Chelsea Filters etc. We never perform any destructive tests,
